Uptown Theater,
GPAC's new theatre performance venue

The Uptown Theater
In 2005, the city of Grand Prairie purchased the Main Street Uptown
Movie House. The theater has now reopened as a 400 seat live performance theatre.
The Uptown Theater will be the home for many the events of the Grand
Prairie Arts Council; a facility to showcase the community arts programs
that are flourishing in our community.
