Martin Luther King Day - Art Exhibit & Contest

Throughout the month of February. GPAC supports a student art show.

Exhibit is rotated throughout the month of January at Daniels Elementary Academy,

GP Memorial Library and Betty Warmack Branch Library.

Turner Park: Located at Beltline Road and Park Square North. South of I-30 at Beltline Road, 75050.
Alternate Rain Venue: First United Methodist Church Youth Building, 121 Center Street, 75050 

 

Enjoy a fabulous line-up of entertainment! Bring the whole family and your lawn chairs or a blanket. 
Dinner concessions will be available, or bring a picnic dinner.

 

  April 4 – The Herbie Johnson Jazz Quartet

Toe-tapping Jazz & Blues music from American standards and original compositions.
April 11 – The Glenn Dorsey Band

Swing to the sounds of the 1040’s in Big Band style including Latin, Swing and Dance music. Bring your dancin’ shoes for this one!
April 18 – The Inner City All Stars

A Funk/Jam Brass Band that blends the styles of R&B, Texas Style Hip-Hop, and many more for an eclectic style of music.
April 25 – The Fugitives

Enjoy R&B, rock-n-roll & country tunes with this popular homegrown party band.
